How much does the program cost?

Pricing is currently $15,500, this includes all your fees, tuition, PPE and other associated costs. 

Only thing you need to supply is your CSA Approved min 6″ steel toed boots. 

Cost breakdown as follows:  Tuition: $9179.10, Registration Fee:  $275, Books/Supplies: $6000 and Training Completion Fund: $45.90.  Please note prices may change.

We are what CRA calls a DEI – Designated Educational Institute, which means we issue Federal T2202 Tuition Tax Receipts for income tax purposes.

What machines will I learn to operate?

7 machines: loader, dozer, excavator, haul truck, grader, backhoe, and skid steer. You’ll get extensive seat time on actual construction equipment on a real jobsite, not simulators or parking lot training.

Will I get a job after completing this program?

Our students have an 75% hire rate. Heavy Equipment Operators earn $22-$42/hour ($58,000-$79,000/year) in Canada. Success depends on your skills, attitude, and work ethic – we provide the training that employers actually value.

Is there an all-inclusive plan that includes my accommodations, meals, transportation and steel toed boots?

Yes, we have special pricing arrangements with several local hotels. Rates range from approximately $1,848 (3-star) to $4,300 (5-star) for the entire stay, but are subject to change. The training site is about 15 minutes from accommodations. You’ll need your own transportation or arrange ride-sharing.

We also offer an all inclusive package that includes your accommodations, meals, transportation and boots. Please speak with our SWS Enrolment Advisor to learn more.
